Crews have completed Phase 1 of project construction, installing the open trenching portions of the underground transmission lines between the Lacombe and Barker substations. We thank the public for their patience and cooperation while we completed this phase of project construction.

Crews will return in September 2024 to begin Phase 2 of project construction to install the underground transmission lines through boring, which will occur through spring 2025.
